Social work in the school

There has been a social worker in the school since August 2009. The project “Ensure school-success” was issued by Sachsen Anhalt with the help of the European Union, with the aim of decreasing the number of students dropping out of school.

The students are in a very important stage of their lives and their problems are often complicated. The Social Worker acts as a go-between and a listener for students and between students, teachers and other institutions. She supports group work and cooperation and aids the development of learning.

The office is on the first floor and is open Monday to Friday, should nobody be available- contact the secretary.
