If you associate school days with dark rooms and dark floors, you won't recognise
the Goethe School, Ilsenburg. Light, friendly and open- it doesn't live up to a single
clichė of a school.
Built in 1994, the round building's 13 corners have the effect of making the school
welcoming, rooms inviting and it blends in to the environment. This layout has its
own effect on the lessons, the traditions, the projects and student-teacher relationship-
giving anybody the opportunity to build their own image of „our“ school.
