Cooperation with the „Dr. Ecklebe“ company

A joint project between the Ilsenburg Goethe Secondary School and the Dr. Ecklebe firm acquainted pupils with technological education.

How does an electric motor function? 5 pupils from the Goethe secondary school now know the answer precisely. These pupils, through a joint project with the Dr. Ecklebe Company, have built an electric motor themselves. And in doing so, they have collected their first practical experience in a technological job. A win-win situation for everyone involved.

While the way an electric motor works is „all Greek“ to some adults, these students understand them and can build one themselves. The ninth and tenth graders of the Ilsenburg Goethe School took part in this project „Fascination Engineering- The building of simple electric motors and their smart controls“ at the Dr. Ecklebe Company of Reddeber. The project took place from March to June.
